Francois Du Toit rejoins Renaissance Capital’s research team in Africa

Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank, announces that Francois Du Toit has rejoined the Firm as an Insurance and Real Estate research analyst. As part of Renaissance Capital’s Africa research team, Francois will be based in Cape Town and report to Johann Pretorius, Head of Research Africa. He will cover insurance stocks across Renaissance Capital’s markets in Africa and real estate stocks in South Africa.

Francois Du Toit rejoined Renaissance Capital after a short stint at Citi Bank. Previously, he had worked at the Firm for 10+ years as an insurance research analyst. Francois holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Stellenbosch and a Post Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town. He is a registered person (equity markets) with the South Africa Institute for Financial Markets (SAIFM).
